This ornamental plant is native to Central and South America with thin sword-shaped leaves with a deep burgundy underside and a green to metallic grey segment. Sitara’s gold is a resilient indoor container plant is found in several color forms and ‘Sitara’s Gold’ brings another unique addition. This plant does exceeding well at holding its own through periods of neglect and poor lighting. For best growth and color give it bright indirect light or a little morning or afternoon sun.

NATIVE LAND: Central & South America

WATER: Water when top soil becomes visually dry. These plants like to be kept fairly moist.

LIGHT: Full to partial sunlight (but forgiving of lower light conditions)

ISSUES: These plants usually have zero issues other than having the potential to root rot if overwatered/ overloved
